Different Ways to Play
There are a few fun ways you can use this Preschool Valentines Printable to teach your little ones. I love when one resource can do multiple things! You can also laminate them to make them reusable too!
However you choose to use these printables, your kids will be learning to match shapes and learn the names of them, as well as practicing their fine motor skills.

Valentines Scavenger Hunt
Firstly, you could hide the chocolate shapes around your home or classroom for your kids to find. This is a great way to get your kids up and moving about using up some energy! They’ll also be practicing their observation skills and their concentration.
My daughter loved using these as a Scavenger Hunt activity and she went around with her glue stick, matching up the shapes and sticking them on as she went.
Sensory Bin
A second way to play, is to hide all the shapes in a sensory bin full of rice or another dry filler.
Then have your kids find the shapes to match from there. This is a great option if your little one is a fan of sensory play. It’s like a game of hide and seek but on a smaller scale.
Cutting and Sticking Practice
If you’re looking for a quiet-time activity to be completed at a desk you can use this Valentine’s Shapes Printable as a cutting and sticking activity for your Preschoolers. As they match the shapes they can cut them out and glue them on.
