The Easter Story for 4-7 year olds
The Easter Story (The Brick Bible for Kids) tells the Easter story with Lego Brick illustrations.
The minute I saw this one, I knew I would have to get it for my son. He cannot get enough of lego and the other kids his age at our church are the same. I’m thinking of taking it into church for their sunday school class when Easter arrives.
It looks a great one to help young lego fans really engage with the Easter story in an exciting way. It’s hardback too, so should last you more than a few Easters!
The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross Storybook: The true story of why Jesus died and rose again is popular with Christian parents for a reason. My kids really enjoy this book and it has helped them to understand the biblical story of Easter better than I could have explained it.
I wish this book had been around when I was a kid. It is so well-written, and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful. This book would make a lovely Easter gift for any Christian kid you know.
If you’re after a more traditional telling of the Easter story, then this lovely book is the one. It still has a fun twist though, as it tells the story from the perspective of the donkey who carried Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.
Easter Books for 4-7 year olds : Egg Hunts!
Paddington’s Easter Egg Hunt is just adorable, and who doesn’t love Paddington Bear?
Most kids grow up knowing who Paddington Bear is. He’s a timeless classic. Let’s face it, he’s so famous, he even had tea with the Queen that one time, remember?
This cute Easter story will delight any young reader, whether they know Paddington, or are just discovering him for the first time.
We’re Going on an Egg Hunt (A Lift-the-Flap Adventure) is such a fun book. We have this one and both my kids absolutely love it and have read it so many times over the years. Based on the kids classic, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’, this is one of my kids favourite books.
They love lifting the flaps on each page to count all the eggs, making the animal noises along the way, and the ending where the door slams in the Big Bad Wolf’s face!
Supertato: The Great Eggscape! is an exciting new book from the creators of the Supertato series. If you haven’t already heard of this series, then I highly recommend taking a look. My kids find them absolutely hilarious.
Supertato is a super potato who has to keep saving the other veggies from the Evil Pea!
Any kid with a fun sense of humour and a love for action stories is going to be delighted with this one!

A great way to engage our little ones into nature and get them outside regularly.
Brambly Hedge’s Spring Story is another classic kid’s book. I remember my dear Granny introducing these books to me as a kid. My own kids now enjoy them too.
They really are timeless. Lovely and relaxing, this series follows a group of little mice, through the different seasons with little mishaps and adventures along the way.
The illustrations are so beautiful and detailed. A truly special gift.
Little Bear’s Spring is a lovely story of a little bear cub who’s in search of Spring. As he meets animal friends along the way, he begins to discover what Spring is all about. With intricate, vibrant illustrations, this book will soon become a firm favourite with your little one, as they learn about Spring along with Little Bear.
