Farm Animals Paper Plate Crafts

With FREE Printable Animal Faces, this fun Farm Sensory Play set-up is so quick and easy to create! I’ve found it’s a lovely independent play activity to have set up in a corner for kids to play with.

It’s also a great one if you have little one’s who still like to taste everything they play with! I remember when my son was in Preschool and he still put everything in his mouth! It was so reassuring when the play activities were taste-safe!

This little collection of Free Farm Worksheets are great for Preschoolers!

I think these Farm Suncatchers have to be my favorite Preschool Farm Activities!

They just look so striking and pretty stuck up on the windows and are deceptively easy to make! Once you cut out the Free Templates from the post, and stick them onto your clear contact paper, you simply rip up pieces of colored tissue paper and stick them on.

There’s just no way you can get these wrong, really! Even for someone, like me, who isn’t artistic at all!

If you’re looking for a fun way to integrate math into your farm theme, then these counting cards are an easy way to do it!

This Free Printable comes as 3 sheets, each with 6 counting cards on them. Simply cut out the cards and grab some pegs or counters to use with them! Alternatively, you can laminate the counting cards and use white board markers.

This is one of the best-looking tuff tray’s I’ve ever made! But yet, like all my sensory play set-ups, it only took me about 5 minutes to create!

Setting up your sensory play with some small world play, like this, can really help to kickstart your little one’s imagination and get them engrossed in their play quickly! These are particularly great if you have kids who struggle to play imaginatively, without adult support.

Farm Animals Tower Challenge!

This is such a fun and easy Farm Activity to try! All you need for this one is a bunch of farm animals and you’re good to go!

Simply challenge your kids to build the tallest tower they can with their farmyard animals in a set time! Just decide if you want the winner to be the person with the highest tower or the person with the most animals balanced on their tower, as this might not be the same person!

A fun way to practice fine motor skills, problem-solving, and patience!

Natural Materials Farm Play

A lovely way to engage your little one’s in nature, this Farm Play set up is so quick and easy, not to mention FREE!

I got my daughter involved helping to create this habitat for the farm animals! She loved foraging round our garden to find the pebbles, soil, grass, twigs and flowers. We ended up using Weetabix cereal for our fences this time and then added some water to make a small pond and turn the soil into mud for our pigs!

Recycled Resources Farm Sensory Play

I love this cute, little, farm sensory play set-up! It’s so simple, yet so engaging!

My daughter really enjoyed ‘feeding’ the little farm animals with some porridge oats and ‘mucking out’ the animals stalls. I loved that I could just raid our recycling stash and re-use things to make it.

It’s great when you’re on a budget, but even if you’re not, it’s lovely to be able to show our kids a cool example of reusing and recycling!
