Easy Farm Craft Box Template

If you’re looking for fun and easy Farm Crafts for Kids to make, this cute Farm Box Craft for Kids is a winner! Simply print out the Free Template at the bottom of the page, grab the pens, scissors, and glue, and you’re good to go!

My kids love doing crafts and over the years I’ve discovered that some crafts can take up a lot of space, or are fun to make but not so pretty to display! Don’t get me wrong, we love those crafts too! But, sometimes it’s nice to have a small craft that your kids can use afterward.

This cute little Farm Box can be used as a little gift box if filled with little treats, or used to store other treasures, or stationery supplies.

This cute craft was a lovely, relaxing, mindful activity to do alongside my kids. It also makes a nice easy activity to take along to a restaurant or cafe with you to entertain the kids while they are waiting for their meal.

If you’re a teacher or activity group leader, this is a lovely last-minute craft to prep for a big group of kids and it uses minimal supplies that most households would already have.

What you Need to Make your Farm Box

The first step in creating this cute Farm Box is to assemble your materials. I found I already had these supplies in my kid’s craft cupboard from previous crafts, but if you don’t, they can all be found on Amazon if you can’t get them locally.

You’ll need…

  • My Free Template [Big pink button at the bottom of the page!]
  • Colored Pens or Pencils
  • Scissors
  • Glue

How to Make your Farm Box

The first thing you need to do, is scroll to the bottom of the post and download the Free Printable Template. Once you’ve got it, I’d recommend printing it out on card as paper is too flimsy.

Now you simply cut around the box template and cut out the box decorations (A Tractor, Cow, Pig, Sheep, and Chicken).

Now comes the fun part! Your little ones can decorate their box and the decorations however they like. You could use pens, paint, tissue paper and glue, dot markers, stamps, stickers, etc.. Then they glue the decorations onto their box.

Pin says glue these 4 flaps and then has 4 arrows pointing to the flaps on the box template that need to be glued in order to assemble your box craft correctly.

Lastly, you need to fold along the dotted lines on the box and glue the flaps, as shown in the picture above. Then make up the box. Once the glue is dry, your box is ready to use!

These cute little boxes are great to fill with little treats! They can also be used for kids to collect their little treasures in! Things like stickers, erasers, loose change, hair clips, a special shell, loom bands, etc all fit in here.
