Adorable Valentines Handprint Wreath Craft for Kids
Are you looking for a beautiful keepsake Valentines Day Craft to do with your Kids this year? Something to display proudly in your home and keep as a reminder of how small they once were? If so, this adorable Valentines Day Kids Handprint Wreath Craft is for you!
I did this Valentines Heart Wreath with my 5-year-old daughter, and she enjoyed making her handprints and then seeing the finished product hung up on the wall.
A slightly older child would be able to cut their handprints out and stick them down into a heart shape too. However, the benefit of this craft is that you can make it with your toddler, or even your baby, as a cute Valentines handprint craft.

You Will Need
To make your Valentines Kids Handprint Wreath Craft, you will need:
- White Paper
- Red and Pink Paint
- A Paintbrush (optional)
- PVA Glue
- A Glue Stick or Brush for Spreading
- Scissors
- Pink/Purple Pipecleaners (optional)
- Glitter (optional)
- Strong Cardboard (for backing)
Step 1: Make Handprints
Step 1:
Help your kid make pink and red hand prints on the white paper.
We made 16 handprints to make our Valentines Wreath, but you can make more if you want your wreath to be bigger.
If you want to make your Valentines Wreath Glittery this is the best stage to add the glitter, while the paint is still wet.
Step 2: Cut out the Handprints
Step 2:
Cut around all the handprints.
You can choose how closely you want to cut around the handprints. You could cut around the individual fingers or just around the hand as a whole.
Step 3: Make your Heart Wreath
Step 3:
Glue your handprints together into a heart shape to make your wreath.
Leave to dry.
Step 4: Add the Finishing Touches
Step 4:
Glue your handprint wreath onto some strong cardboard, then cut around it.
Make a small hole at the top of your wreath to hang it up.
You can then hang it by the hole, or add a pipe cleaner (or some ribbon) through the hole to make a small loop if you prefer.
