How you can use this FREE Printable
There are a few different ways to play and learn with this Easter Shape Matching Activity.
Firstly, you can use the Easter Eggs themselves for a Shape Recognition Matching Game! Simply cut them out and turn them all face down on a table. Then take it in turns to turn over two Easter Eggs. If you find a pair with matching shapes you can keep them. Keep playing like this until all the eggs have been claimed. The winner is the player with the most Easter Eggs!

The second way to play is to stick all the Easter Baskets onto a piece of card. Only glue them around the bottom and side of the baskets, to make a little slot in the middle that the Easter Eggs will fit into.
Then pop the eggs next to your basket board and encourage your little one to match the Easter Eggs to the right Baskets. There are two eggs per basket.
And finally, a third way to play this is as an Easter Scavenger Hunt! Hide the Easter Eggs around your class, house, or garden (if the weather allows!). Then encourage your little one to find all the eggs and match them up. Once they are matched, they can then find the right Easter Baskets to pop them into!
