What you Need to Make your Chick Craft

To make your Chick Paper Plate Craft, you will need just a few things that you may well have lying around at home already! I know I did!

• Paper Plate

• My Free Printable [Download using the big, pink button at the bottom of the post!]

• Card to Print out on

• Yellow Paint

• Paint Brush or Sponges to Paint with

• Scissors

• Glue

How to Make your Paper Plate Chick Craft

This Paper Plate Chick Craft is super easy to create, making it a great toddler or preschool craft, as well as suiting older children. It works well with older children in a classroom setting, as they can work independently on it, without needing much individual help.

To begin, paint (or color) your paper plate in yellow. We used sponges, instead of paint brushes, when painting ours as it gave a more even coverage and nicer texture!

Once it’s dry, print off my Free Printable onto card and then cut out the eyes, beak, feet, and the wings. Then you can stick them onto your paper plate with your glue.

Then you can print them out at home, ready to use right away! Great if you’re needing a last-minute Farm Craft or Easter Craft!

Make sure to select the option, ‘fit to printable area’ in the advanced settings when printing. This makes sure the printable comes out looking it’s best.
