How you can use your Thanksgiving Number Match Printable

There are a number of different ways you can use this Thanksgiving Preschool Printable to teach your little ones. I love when one resource can do multiple things!

However you choose to use these printables, your kids will learn to match numbers, order numbers, count, and practise their fine motor skills.

Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt

Firstly, you could hide your numbers around your home or classroom for your little ones to find. This is a great way to get your kids up and moving about, using up some energy! They’ll also be practising their observation skills, concentration, and attention to detail.

Alternatively, you can laminate the turkey and the numbers and attach little Velcro dots to them so they can be reused over and over.

Sensory Bin

A second way to play, is to hide all your turkey’s numbers in a sensory bin full of leaves, rice, or another dry filler.

Your kids then find and match the numbers from there. This is a great option if your kids are a fan of sensory play. It’s like a game of hide-and-seek but on a smaller scale.

Cutting and Sticking Practice

If you’re looking for a quiet-time activity to be completed at a desk you can use this Thanksgiving Turkey Number Match Printable as a cutting-and-sticking activity for your Preschoolers. As they match the numbers, they can cut them out and glue them on.
